The Queensland Reconciliation Awards recognise businesses, organisations and educational institutions that take positive steps towards reconciliation and Aruga is honoured to be part of that journey since 2019.
We work with the Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC) at every stage: mining our networks and spreading the word to generate a stream of worthy nominations then grabbing our metaphorical pom-poms and championing the winners long after the awards ceremony is over.
Aruga is the ultimate proud stage mum – training the spotlight on worthy nominees and winners and making sure Queensland sits up and takes notice of these stars.

Working on the Queensland Reconciliation Awards since 2019, Aruga has a deep knowledge of the DPC’s objectives from start to finish, so we could hit the ground running with an instant and efficient strategic approach that achieved results.
Leveraging Aruga’s strong connections with targeted media generated blanket coverage across both commercial and public radio stations in 2022.
Our strong, ongoing relationship with awards ambassador Johnathan Thurston saw us help him share the 2022 campaign’s key messages across general media and his social channels.
