Introducing Beginners’ Call: Aruga’s AAA pass to Brisbane Festival

As proud publicists for Brisbane Festival for more than five years, Aruga is privileged to experience Queensland’s most anticipated event from the inside. This year, we invite audiences to do the same!

Conceived by Aruga and curated by Brisbane Festival Artistic Director Louise Bezzina, the Beginners’ Call podcast takes audiences backstage and behind-the-scenes of Queensland’s largest and much-loved celebration of arts and culture.

Hosted by Aruga Co-Founder Adam Brunes, Beginners’ Call shares the stories of writers and directors, reveals the inspiration that drives creators and producers, and explores the breadth and diversity of the 2022 Brisbane Festival program.

Podcast guests span homegrown heroes, Australian icons and international VIPs including Brisbane Festival Artistic Director Louise Bezzina, Mammalian Diving Reflex Creative Producer Virginia Antonipillai, Blak Social founder Alethea Beetson, Olivier Award nominee David Morton, and playwrights Andrea James and Anna Yen.
