Escape into an urban DayDream at Wintergarden

DayDream is a fully immersive multi-sensory experience featuring more than 20,000 lights and an ambient soundscape.

Step through the darkened archway and take a break from the daily grind in cosy bean bags as the 90-second mindfulness experience reveals a shimmering landscape of colour, sound, space and time.

The ultimate in urban escapism launched on Friday 7 October as part of Shop BNE City and runs until Sunday 30 October with a different DayDream to experience each week.

Wintergarden Centre Manager David Smith said the cutting-edge installation was unlike anything Brisbane had experienced before.

“With dazzling lights and stunning soundscapes, DayDream temporarily transports you to another world where you can enjoy a mindful reprieve from the bustle of urban life,” MrSmith says.

To enter DayDream, simply spend $10 or more at Wintergarden and present your receipt at the entrance on Lower Ground Level to lose yourself in the wonder of the sound and vision spectacular.

You can also enter a draw to win $1000 to spend at Wintergarden by scanning a QR code located at each retailer with every purchase over $10 before 30 October.

DayDream is located on Wintergarden’s Lower Ground Level (near the food court) and opens Monday to Thursday from 10am–3pm, Friday from 10am–7pm and Saturday to Sunday from 10am–3pm.

Experience four different DayDreams: Into the Wild and Over the Rainbow from 7-18 October and Summer Solstice and Deep Space from 19-30 October.
