Stunning artwork celebrating captivating stories of First Nations culture and history will grace a brand-new range of interior vehicle accessories at Supercheap Auto, with royalties from purchases going back to the artist and her community through Warlukurlangu Artists.

The Water Dreaming Ngapa Jukurrpa range was designed by Aboriginal artist Caroline Nakamarra Gibson in collaboration with Aboriginal-owned art centre Warlukurlangu – Artists of Yuendumu in Central Australia.

The range consisting of car seat covers, boot organisers, picnic rugs and more, contains REPREVE fabric made from recycled water bottles, with the items packaged in recyclable cardboard.

Her designs represent stories passed down through the generations and relate directly to her land, its features and the plants and animals that inhabit the tali – sandhill – country of the Gibson Desert, southwest of Lake McKay.

Supercheap Auto is committed to increasing its understanding and recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories, knowledge and rights. Through collaboration with the Warlukurlangu Artists to deliver this new range, it looks forward to further celebrating the diversity of its team and customers.
