Helping Brisbane shine brightly
In 2018, we cemented Brisbane Festival as Brisbane’s Festival. In 2019, we upped our game to help deliver record-breaking box office sales and attendance numbers, more than 200 sell-out shows and unprecedented media coverage worth making a song and dance about.
Aruga continued its long-running relationship with Brisbane Festival to deliver another installation of the city’s beloved annual arts, music and cultural extravaganza. After the mammoth success of staging Brisbane Festival during a pandemic in 2020, the event organisers sought to shine in 2021 with a Brightly Brisbane vision.
Not one to hide our light under a bushel, Aruga flicked on the high beams to coordinate an intensive campaign that spotlighted Brisbane Festival acts and artists as well as staff, stakeholders and partners. Our work secured extensive media coverage for Brisbane Festival across TV, print and radio networks with a marked year-on-year increase in PR performance. Brisbane Festival 2021 wasn’t just bright, it was dazzling.
