For Aruga, the arts is a reason, not a season, and partnering with Queensland’s premier theatre awards, The Matilda Awards, to celebrate and uplift our state’s performing arts sector, is a calling we had to answer. 

In 2025, Aruga delivered a campaign that went beyond local publicity, with thirty national media clippings covering the awards and profiling the winners from emerging artists to honouring homegrown industry icons. 

Aruga’s approach reinforced the Matilda Awards’ legacy and spotlighted Queensland’s theatre scene as a national creative force, ensuring the Matilda Awards commanded attention both on and off the stage.
