Crossing live to quintessential Queensland ahead of Australian TV’s night of nights.

2022 saw the triumphant return of Australian TV’s biggest night of accolades after a two year hiautus; the TV Week 62nd Annual Logie Awards.

Held at The Star Gold Coast on Monday 19 June, and broadcast live by TV partner Channel Nine, all eyes were on Queensland.

Aruga was engaged by Tourism & Events Queensland (TEQ) to plan, deliver and manage seven dazzling mornings of TODAY Show Weather in seven dazzling Queensland locations in the week leading up to the event – Townsville, Cairns, The Whitsundays, Sunshine Coast, Scenic Rim, Brisbane and Mt Tamborine.

Working with TEQ and local Regional Tourism Operators (RTOs), Aruga showcased events, operators, destinations and locals from the seven locations, with cameo appearances from the iconic Gold Logie itself.
