Brisbane Comedy Festival’s return was a barrel of laughs
Brisbane was in dire need of comic relief after COVID rudely interrupted the Brisbane Comedy Festival’s punchlines in 2020 and 2021.
Aruga had the last laugh and executed a well-timed public relations campaign that made sure everyone knew the Festival was back bigger, better, bolder and brassier than ever in 2022.
With more than 100 acts over five weeks, we turned frowns upside down by securing record-breaking media coverage and national awareness for Brisbane Comedy Festival and its stars: the local legends, household heroes and international icons alike.
